Dramatics on 16th December 2014
KG- A enacted the birth of Karna, the son of Kunti and the Sun God. He was abandoned by Kunti soon after his birth and brought up by Adhirath, the King's charioteer and his wife Radha and became famous as Radhey.
PG- A showed that Arjuna was the most favourite student of Guru Dronacharya. At a very young age he was praised for his sincerity and skill in archery. He was known for his single-mindedness in pursuing his goals.
NUR- A showed how Draupadi got married to the five Pandavas.
NUR- B showed that the reason behind the Great War was the disrobing of Draupadi. She was badly insulted in the Hastinapur court. The Pandavas took revenge of that insult in the battle-field.
PG- B presented the skit "Hungry Krishna" showing how Lord Krishna saved the Pandavas' honour and how He protected them from the anger of Rishi Durvasa. He ate a grain of rice from Akshaypatra and satisfied the hunger of thousands of pupils of Rishi Durvasa.
KG- B showed how Krishna became the charioteer. He helped both the Pandavas and the Kauravas in the battle.
He himself did not fight from any side and preferred to become the charioteer of Arjuna.
It is always said that the person who is blessed by God himself cannot be harmed by anyone.
Arjuna was blessed by Lord Krishna and therefore he became victorious in the Battle of Mahabharata.
The event culminated with the message of speaking the truth and following the path of Dharma.
