21st January 2007 marked a special day for one more achievement of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas. Sheetal College of Bio-Medical Science granted a public welcome to Swami Vishveshwaranandaji, President of Omkarananda Ashram Himalayas, for their best educational performance amongst the 500 public schools under the aegis of Independent School Federation of India. On this occasion he was presented a shawl, a citation and a memento.
The schools run by the Ashram are doing a challenging task by providing quality education to their students to lead them for progress. In his statement, while praising Omkarananda Preparatory School, the Principal of Sheetal College of Bio-Medical Science, Mr. D.K. Varshney said that Omkarananda Preparatory Schools is a model school and is an asset for the local society.
Ex-Principal of Shri Bharat Mandir Inter College, Mr. I.D. Joshi, also stated that Omkarananda Preparatory School is doing such a marvellous job that teachers from other schools should go there to learn.
This achievement of the Ashram was a matter of pride to the entire state.
